So you’ve made a plan to lose weight and get in shape – and good on you. But despite all your best efforts, putting all that work in the gym, going for a run and following a diet plan, you don’t seem to be making much progress. Sounds familiar?

OK, you’ve heard all about weight loss hacks and sure, 99% of them don’t work, or if they do work they don’t work long term.

Weight loss starts on your plate
You already know that losing weight has a lot to do with your diet. And this is the hack that you need to know.
Exercise isn’t the main cause of weight loss. The calories you consume are.
So here is how to lose weight using one simple hack that will make it easy for you to manage.
Skip breakfast and make your first meal your lunch.
And to make it even better, have a protein heavy lunch with very little in the way of carbs.
So at around 12 or 1pm, enjoy a nice big lunch of:
- Cheese omelette with crunchy salad and coleslaw
- Smashed avo on a slice of sourdough with seed and nut butter
- Smoked haddock with poached egg and butter sauce
- Chicken breast stir fry with peppers, spinach and tomatoes
- Spiced lentil soup with one slice of buttered toast
The trick with your lunch is to give you a good protein boost which will keep you feeling full for as long as possible.
And to really nail this simple weight loss hack, drink a BIG glass of water before and after you eat.
Let’s be honest though, you’re gonna wanna snack. So keep it focused on fruit, nuts and liquid.
Eat a normal dinner, with whatever healthy options you have planned. You can include carbs, have dessert and even eat a burger and chips if you really want.
But aim to keep those calories under 2000 for the day. AND, make sure you do some gym work or some kind of exercise. Also, although you can have a little indulgence with your dinner, make sure you keep your calorie intake in check and do make sure you are burning those calories in the day.
Avoid eating too later as well. Finish your eating around 2 hours before bed for best results.

So the simple weight loss hack is:
