Fans of games have had a great year – with some epic games having been released in 2022. And we’re just over halfway through the year!

Today, we are going to talk about the best PC games released so far in 2022. And yes, most people play on one of the major consoles. But, serious gamers play PC games, right? Anyway, here are the best games of 2022 in no particular order:

10. Elden Ring

It’s no surprise that this game is on here. Developed and Published by FromSoftware, Elden Ring conquered the internet by selling over 13.4 million copies and generated an average of 177 thousand concurrent viewers on streaming platform Twitch in March 2022. FromSoftware did a great job by getting the Dark Souls feeling to the game with a ton of elements such as cruel boss fights, and harsh yet rewarding combat.

9. The Quarry

The Quarry is the next game in The Dark Pictures Anthology series. The game is developed by the same developers of Until Dawn, Man of Medan, and House of Ashes, and it certainly does a great job of keeping the same horror sensation through the entirety of the game. This time around, Supermassive Games looks to deliver a more 80’s horror experience, and it definitely delivers.

8. Dying Light 2 Stay Human

After 7 years, Techland finally releases the long awaited sequel of the first Dying Light game, loved by many. But does it live up to the expectations? Well, kind of. The game has “mostly positive” reviews on Steam, and for a good reason. The parkour part of the game is excellent, and a level up from its prequel, but there are some features that are lacking and some that are a bit of a downgrade, but it certainly deserves a spot on this list.

7. WWE 2K22

It’s a vast improvement on WWE 2K20, and one of the best games of the entire WWE 2K series. With a number of smart fixes, streamlined action gameplay, and a handful of engaging, well-designed modes, it has successfully shed the franchise’s bad reputation.

‘A year off has certainly done the series good, and helped 2K Games and Visual Concepts rethink what makes wrestling so fun. WWE 2K22 is a game changer, and one that certainly does “hit different”.’ – Leah J. Williams.

6. Weird West

Weird West is definitely one of a kind, and the most unique on this list. Weird West’s world is full of such supernatural horrors, including wraiths and werewolves, and it really feels like a Diablo III, RDR 2, and Dishonored fever dream. So, if you like these games, you should give Weird West a try.

5. NORCO

Most of the time, games and movies that approach the southern theme are almost terrible, with over exaggerations of cartels at every corner and a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. NORCO, a narrative-driven game about the ways in which institutions like big business have exploited the South, its people and its land throughout history, is clearly the work of people who understand this region and its fundamental defects.

4. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

I know, I know, it’s not yet released, but it will be soon, more precisely on August 12. The wait is killing me, honestly. The lack of a PlayStation made me wait 4 years to play it on PC, and that time will soon come. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC introduces an experienced Peter Parker who’s fighting big crime and iconic villains in Marvel’s New York. At the same time, he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of Marvel’s New York rests upon his shoulders, so this deserves a spot on this list.

3. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

The galaxy is yours in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Experience memorable moments and nonstop action from all nine Skywalker saga films reimagined with signature LEGO humor. Also, on Steam, I found Tiernan’s review on the game, and I thought it is too good to not be included here:
